Ivanti was formed in January 2017 from the merger of two companies, LANDESK and HEAT Software. For over 30 years, the two companies have offered user-centric IT solutions designed to increase productivity while reducing the risk of a compromised IT environment. LANDESK was the only vendor placed by Gartner in 4 areas, namely: customer management, endpoint device protection, IT service management and customer support, and enterprise mobility management.
LANDESK and HEAT Software have made many changes and acquisitions over the years. LANDESK absorbed companies such as: Wavelink, Shavlik, Xtraction Solutions, or recently AppSense. HEAT, on the other hand, was formed through the merger of FrontRange and Lumension.
Ivanti’s headquarters are located in Utah outside Salt Lake City, USA. The company has 36 offices and branches in 23 countries. A large software development centre is located in Poland.
The company currently has approximately 2,000 employees. Ivanti focuses on: Enabling organizations to gain control over service delivery, simplifying service management processes, providing a real-time view of services and infrastructure, and providing tools that combine people, processes and technology to ensure optimal service delivery performance.
